Baby boy has been cuddling up with the family Goldendoodles since he was a week old – and his mother jokes he’s going to grow up thinking he’s a dog

An adorable baby has won over the hearts of hundreds of thousands of people due to his heart-warming relationship with a golden-doodle puppy.

Samson, a golden retriever crossed with a poodle, regularly poses up with six month old Theo in gorgeous shots.

Theo’s mother Jessica from Westport, Connecticut, has an Instagram account with more than 700,000 followers in Samson’s name, where she also shares snaps of her two other Goldendoodles, Charley and Shea, one-year-olds from the same litter.

Jessica even joked Theo is so close with the pooches he thinks he’s a dog too.

She said: ‘It’s amazing to see Theo’s relationship with the dogs evolve; pretty soon, Theo will be sneaking them treats.

‘In the past month or so, Theo’s really started to pet and rub them and become more aware of their presence which has been sweet to watch.

Jessica even joked Theo is so close with the pooches he thinks he’s a dog too.

She added that her son’s happy nature is down to the pest helping himto  stay calm, and she’s now glad she can spread joy with the adorable pictures of Theo and his furry friends.

‘I truly believe from the beginning he has felt the calming presence of the dogs. When he was just one week old, I put him in the middle of them and he beamed.

Speaking about Theo, Jessica continued:  ‘He’s a very calm and chilled out baby; obviously it’s partly just genetic and his personality but I really think the dogs have helped.’

Jessica added: ‘I didn’t realise adding a baby to the mix would bring so much more attention but what is more pure than the bond between a baby and a dog’.
